Udupi: Two cars collide in Kelaparkala, no injuries reported

Udupi, Aug 28: A road mishap occurred near Kelaparkala on Tuesday August 27, when two cars collided and subsequently crashed into a transformer located near the municipality's water pump station.

According to reports, one car was coming from the adjacent road near the pump, while the other was traveling on the main road. Both vehicles sustained damage in the collision, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. Police arrived at the scene and swiftly restored the traffic flow.

The area has witnessed several accidents, including vehicles overturning, due to unfinished roadwork. Residents are now demanding the installation of proper warning signs to prevent such incidents from recurring.
