Mangaluru: Yenepoya PU College organizes ‘Yenrich Extravaganza 2024’

Mangaluru, Sep 3: The much-anticipated Annual event, YENRICH EXTRAVAGANZA-2024, took place on August 24, at the vibrant Yendurance Zone. The event commenced with a heartfelt invocatory song, followed by a spirited welcome dance that set an energetic tone for the day.

Chief guest Roy Castelino, a distinguished social and political activist, urged students to consider prestigious government careers through UPSC exams to contribute to a corruption-free India. In her presidential address, director operations and academics Mishria Javeed highlighted the event’s significance as a platform for fostering the holistic development of students.

Associate director Anthony Joseph graced the occasion with his esteemed presence. Principal Uzwal Menezes praised the students for their exceptional teamwork and creativity in his welcome address, while the Annual College Report highlighted the institution's achievements over the past year.

The formal proceedings gave way to a series of mesmerizing student performances that showcased a wide range of artistic expressions. Participants dazzled the audience with lively dances, engaging skits, and dynamic ramp walks.

The performances were categorized into six exciting genres: Tollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood, Sandalwood, Mollywood, and Hollywood, each adding a unique flavour to the event. The event, which concluded was a testament to the students' creativity and the faculty's dedication, celebrating the successful culmination of their collective efforts and the vibrant spirit of the college community.
