Mangaluru, Sep 3: The highly anticipated ‘Humaniscope Arts Fest 2k24’ event by St Agnes PU College under the aegis of the department of Humanities took place on August 31 at 9.30 am in the college auditorium.

The event commenced with a soulful prayer song performed by Lisha and her team. The inauguration was done in a creative and innovative way, setting the tone for the exciting events that followed.

Dynamic competitions were held for the students of Humanities, including Youth Parliament, a simulated parliamentary debate where students demonstrated exceptional leadership and public speaking skills.

Quiz Quest finals saw intense competition showcasing students’ knowledge and critical thinking. Life Crisis and Vices, a poignant skit highlighted social issues and sparking important discussions.

The event concluded with a valedictory programme and prize distribution ceremony, presided over by the principal who delivered an inspiring message, emphasising the enduring value of humanities in shaping well-rounded individuals and imparting essential values.

Misbah welcomed the gathering. Farhana proposed a vote of thanks. The session was compered by Ashura.

The principal, Sr Norine D’Souza, vice principal Sr Janet Sequeira, faculty and the students of the Humanities stream witnessed the programme.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the fest, with enthusiasm and camaraderie was evident throughout the events.

Humaniscope – Arts Fest 2k24 was a resounding success, fostering a deeper appreciation for the humanities while providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and engage in a meaningful dialogue.
