One More Complaint Filed Against Yeddyurappa, Somanna

Bangalore, Nov 17 (PTI): In fresh trouble for former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, another complaint was today filed against him and Housing Minister V Somanna in the Lokayukta court in an alleged land scam.

The complaint pertains to alleged acquisition of 22 guntas (a gunta is 1/40th of an acre) of government land in Nagadevanahalli by Somanna in his wife's name in 2005 and getting it denotified in 2009 when Yeddyurappa was Chief Minister, causing an estimated Rs eight crore loss to the state exchequer.

The land was originally acquired by Bangalore Development Authority for formation of Nagarbhavi Layout in 1993.

Besides Yeddyurappa and Somanna, the complaint filed by one Ravikrishna Reddy was also against Somanna's wife Shailaja.

Sommanna joined BJP after quitting Congress in 2007.The High Court had yesterday granted anticipatory bail to Yeddyurappa and his family members in two complaints on alleged irregularities in denotification of government lands.

Advocate Sirajin Bhasha had filed the complaints in the Lokayukta special court alleging denotification of land illegally by Yeddyurappa to favour his family members.

Yeddyurappa had earlier secured bail in two of the five private complaints regarding alleged illegal denotification of government lands.

    The india suffers a lot... not because of the violence of bad people. It suffers because of the silence of good people...! death is not the great loss in life. greatest loss is when your humanity, morals,dicipline, attitude dies inside while you are alive like our today`s politicians.
    politician late: SUNIL DUTT is died but he alive with every ones heart. he was a politician, but not in politics. good man. hope our politicians take him as a roll model & learn some thing good instead showing their dirty faces every day & living shamelessly.

    This is so sad.
    Our present reign is just like during the Moghuls / British reign. Both the powerful political parties (Congress & BJP) look similar.
    Why can't our politicians think of the betterment of our country, rather than just making money? Why can’t they think of us, the common people?
    Why do we as a common people have to just watch these criminals act like this? We have to see it happening like the 3 monkeys as our hands are tied up. Can we find at least "few" good politicians who can work towards improving our country.

    Only thing, we can do is write here on daijiworld and try to forget our bitterness.
    I guess, this is how, when there is no way, rebels are born.

    God, please do some miracle and save our country.

    The most corrupt man in Karnataka is a man called Yediyurappa, He has come to power itslef by buying MLAs and made so much money by chetaing peopel of karnataka. I feel he should put behind bars and should never be elcted to contest in eelctions, I am surley not going to vote for BJP naymore. I thought they were good now thorughly upest with them Jai Hind!!!

    We are tired and fed up listening to BJP law maker's corruption allegations.Somanna,an Cabinet minister in BJP Govt and closest aide of Yeddy, running after power by changing party to Party!He was been in JDS/Congress and landed in BJP to grab the ministerial berth!This man is one of the most corrupt and arrogant politician in the contemporary political arena of Karnataka."AAYA RAAM GAYA RAAM"Somanna, should tender his resignation in fact in BJP inner circle also he is considered to be PERSONA NON GRATA except for YEDDY.
    BJP MAY RAN OUT OF MLAs under given situation and again I am of the opinion that better to terminate present Govt as "RAJAMARGA" than prevailing dirty "RAAJANEETHI"in Karnataka.
