Mangaluru: Tulunad Tuluver members installs radium reflectors installed on street cows

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 5: In response to the increasing number of accidents involving cows and calves on highways, where they are often injured or killed by speeding vehicles, an awareness campaign was held on September 4 in Kulur, Panambur, Baikampady, and Tannirbhavi areas.

As part of the campaign, radium reflector garlands were placed around the necks of street cattle, making them more visible to drivers at night and helping prevent accidents by allowing vehicles to slow down in time.

The programme was successfully conducted with the participation of Tulunad Tuluver founder president Akash H Karkera, president Sandhya, secretary Bharat Ballalbagh, coordinator Pavan, treasurer Vinita, and other members of the organization.
