Mumbai, Nov 19: Using social networking site Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan has revealed more information on the birth of his grand daughter on Tuesday November 16.

Brushing aside gossip about a C-section, Big B said that the delivery was a very normal one without using any epidural or painkillers. He said, “The often coined phrase ' too posh to push' was put to rest in her case .. she was determined to do it the way she felt was correct!" he posted.

Earlier Big B worte on his blog and Twitter about his daughter-in-law’s strength and courage during the delivery.

Bachchan further explained himself saying that he chose to reveal such personal information on social networking sites and his blog because the media had already given away several details which were not true. Therefore, in order to clarify them, he chose to give away the right information himself.

He said the family was spending more time with the newborn ..."each and every movement sinking deep into our memory cells ...to narrate to them when older!"
