Thugs took advantage of woman's lone presence at home. Wonder, despite the lady has 3 sons and 2 daughters, the mother was left alone to live like that. Have our family bonds gone so weak! Are our aged parents a burden? Are we heading to the western culture? Had someone would be around her, she wouldn't have been murdered today. Guys, wake-up, parents are so precious, take care of them. Their happiness and blessings would really work on you and your kids' progress and future.

Its a cruel end to a person, who should have been enjoying her old age. As per the news, it was the dacoits who stole her jewellery. I wonder how someone could come to this conclusion, since police have not yet traced the thieves but conducted only preliminary investigations. May her soul rest in peace.

An 80 year old lady, possessing a chain and a few bangles was eyed by those who want to make big bucks and are not willing to sweat to earn. How can our society have people whose hearts did not melt when this lady, who stayed alone with her dignity, may have pleaded for her life. Many seniors do not want to be burden on their children and I salute them but would not want their end to be this painful. Mrs Poojary is in a better place where she is safe.May her soul rest in peace.

Our Mangluru and DK district are giving a tough fight to states like Bihar for all the wrong reasons. Check out, so called Biharis are everywhere, winning big jackpots, racing for IPS, IAS, IRS, IFS cadres and getting into IITs, and we are slugging it out basking in our old glory, I think the tide has changed.......

very Unfortunate and sad. This is the height of in human behaviour. We are becoming worse then animal. They could have taken the ear rigns by sparing the old womens life. At the same time the childrens of this old women are to be blamed equally. How can they live their old mother alone and sleep peace fully at thier home????? The old age home would have been better for her than this house..At least there she will be accompanied by someone.

Like Mumbai Police do, catch them alive and leave them in the pretext of taking to court and then shoot them dead in encounter. This way we can teach a lesson for future culprit with dire consequences else this menace will continue forever and we have to loose many more lives in coastal Karnataka too

wearing gold or owning gold has become taboo. keeping gold at home invites problems. The police should release warnings in print and electronic media warning how unsafe and unsecure if one keeps gold at home...Creation of public interest only can do away with this problem. Old mud houses and loose fit doors and windows make it easy for the looters to accomplish their task... Its better to have one or two dogs at each house so that dogs send out loud alarms when strangers are around... May the departed soul rest in peace...

Two days before I wrote that those who have 25 to 30 sovereigns in home can't sleep peacefully in the night due to gold's price! But certainly, alone staying with some gold may invite trouble is the present situation.May the soul rest in peace.
