Congress Rubbishes Advani Charge on Black Money


New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS): The Congress Sunday rubbished Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani's charge that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government lacked the political will to bring back black money stashed abroad.

"It is ironical those who did nothing to bring back black money despite being in power for six years are blaming the Congress-led UPA government which has done everything on the issue," Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Shukla told reporters.

Concluding his 40-day Jan Chetna Yarta against corruption at the Ramlila ground here Sunday, Advani said the UPA government lacks the political will to curb corruption and bring back black money of Indians stashed abroad.
