New Delhi, Nov 21: Sister Valsa murder case took a new turn as Jharkhand police said that the nun was killed by her own group members.

The police said that Valsa was killed by members of the Rajmahal Pahar Bachao Andolan the banner under which she was working against mining companies. The police have held seven people in connection with the case.

Sister Valsa was killed on November 7 in Pakur district of Jharkhand, after she had taken up the cause of a tribal girl who had allegedly been raped by one of the men allegedly involved in murder of Valsa.

The activist, who gave political outfits a tough time, was murdered by a group of 40 unidentified men who dragged her out of her house and axed her to death.

    Police are trying to cover up the truth and protect the guilty. Religion, money and power play a great role in such cases. Indians are not so dumb to accept whatever the Police . Truth will come out sooner than later.
