Beltangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School hosts taluk level science model exhibition

Beltangady, Sep 14: Taluk level science model exhibition was held in Holy Redeemer English Medium School on September 13 in collaboration with school education and literacy department, block education office and cluster resource centre.

Innovative and exceptional science models by the high school students were exhibited.

Holy Redeemer School represented 9 models under the guidance of science teachers Preetha D'Souza and Mary Suja.

Model making competition was held in individual and group categories. Over 18 schools participated with 21 models in individual category and 47 models in group category.

Exhibition began with an inaugural ceremony. Block education officer Tarakesari, BRCC Mohal Kumar, science subject forum president of Beltangady Taluk Radhakrishnan, president of High school teachers Karnataka state council Niranjan Jain, education coordinator Siddalinga Swamy and Holy Redeemer School headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto were present.

Holy Redeemer School students invoked God's blessings through a prayer song. By lighting the lamp exhibition was inaugurated. Host science teacher Preetha D'Souza compered the programme and teacher Anitha welcomed the gathering.

In the valedictory ceremony, in the presence of the same guests prizes were distributed. Prathima proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with refreshments.
