Bantwal, Sep 14: School education department, block educational office, block resource centre Bantwal. organised ‘Vamadapadavu Zonel Level Pratibha Karanji 2024– 2025.’ The event was held at Loreto English Medium High School and Loreto aided Kannada Medium School on September 13.

School correspondent and president of today's function Fr Francis Crasta, Cyprian D'Souza vice president of parish council, Amtady gram panchayat president Vijay Kumar, Pratima Nodal officer of Pratibha Karanji, school principal Fr Jason Vijay Monis, Loreto Aided Kannada Medium School headmistress Sr Idoline Rodrigues, BIERT Ravindra K, block resource person Vidya and Nagaratna.

Cluster resource person Premalatha and Jyothi Rodrigues. The president of School Teachers Association Prema K and the president of Primary Teachers Association Jayarama, and Amtadi Gram panchayat member Felix D'Souza were present on the Dias. The school choir group beautifully performed the prayer song setting a serene tone for the programme. School principal Fr Jason Vijay Monis welcomed the gathering.

The ceremony included the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp Nodal officer of Pratibha karanji Pratima expressed few words towards gathering and said, "Teachers should promote holistic development of the student by encouraging them to participate in activities and she also said, "Teachers and students should respect judgement of the judges".

Nodal officer of Pratibha karanjii given instructions about competition to be followed throughout the day. The events inaugurated Fr Francis Crasta and Fr Jason Vijay Monis by drawing lots for speech and essay competition various school participated in the event.

Department of School Education Bantwal, encouraged and distributed the prizes to the winners. Sahana G of grade X secured II and prize in drawing competition. Vote of thanks delivered by Vidya block resource person. The programme was compered by block resources person Nagaratna. The programme winded up with national anthem.
