Fire Kills Two Teenaged Sisters


New Delhi, Nov 21 (IANS): Two teenaged sisters were burnt to death when a fire broke out in their east Delhi home, fire officials said.

According to the officials, the fire started around 5.40 a.m. at House No.419 of G.D. Colony in Mayur Vihar phase-three. A fire in an electric appliance being used in the house is suspected to be behind the blaze.

"Two girls died in the fire, one was 14 years old, the other was 17," the fire official said.

There were no reports of anyone else being injured so far.
