Udupi, Sep 17: Nithyananda Shetty, a 52-year-old police personnel from the wireless department of Udupi police, passed away due to a heart attack on the morning of Tuesday, September 17.
Shetty had been serving in the wireless section of the Udupi district police for the past four years.
Prior to this, he worked with the coastal security police in Malpe.
He had completed his night shift and returned home when the tragic incident occurred.
