Kundapur, Sep 17: In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday, Trasi auto driver Udaya Kharvi offered free auto services to the public.
For the past five years, Kharvi has provided this service annually on this date from 7 am to 7 pm, covering a 15 km radius around Trasi and neighbouring areas.
Kharvi’s gesture has been met with widespread appreciation.
He explained his motivation, saying, “The service given by PM Narendra Modi, who is liked by the whole world, to our country is unforgettable. Because of his working style, our country is marching towards progress despite several challenges. I have provided free auto service on his birthday as part of my small service to society. I pray with almighty to give the great leader the country has seen many more years to serve the country.”
