Davanagere, Sep 19: On the joyous occasion of Eid-Milad, St Aloysius International School organized a unique inter-faith initiative, visiting the homes of Muslim students to extend warm wishes and foster communal harmony.

A group of enthusiastic students from classes 6, 7, and 8, accompanied by principal Fr Vinod AJ SJ, school advisor Grace Noronha, and Kindergarten teachers Sharlet and Sr Malsila, participated in this meaningful endeavor.

The student volunteers and staff were warmly welcomed by the families, experiencing firsthand the spirit of hospitality and mutual respect. The visits allowed students to wish their classmates and their families 'Eid Mubarak' in person, creating lasting memories.

The initiative, conceived by Director Fr Eric Mathias SJ, aimed to promote interreligious understanding and fraternity. This innovative approach embodies the school's commitment to inclusivity and social cohesion.
