Udupi, Sep 23: A fire broke out at a private Ayurvedic hospital located near Doddangudde Babbuswami Temple on Monday September 23. The fire department is currently conducting firefighting operations. Fortunately, there were no patients present at the hospital, as it was undergoing renovation.
Kusuma, who arrives every morning for her daily duties, discovered the fire. While starting her work in the kitchen, she heard a sound coming from the hall. Upon stepping outside, she noticed the fire and immediately informed the doctors, who then notified the fire department and rushed to the scene.
Two workers who were on the first floor at the time of the incident managed to safely evacuate the building. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities are investigating the incident.
