Mangaluru, Sep 23: Expert Pre-University College, Valachil, organised an insightful session of career talk on the topic ‘Making of a Doctor’ held in the campus's Cultural Centre.
The programme featured Dr Sajjan Shenoy as the resource person, who is an esteemed consultant Rheumatologist & Immunologist who is the founder head of the department at KMC Hospital, Mangaluru.
A significant portion of the talk was dedicated to understanding the national eligibility-cum-entrance test NEET. Dr Shenoy highlighted the differences in cut-off scores among top government and private medical colleges.
Further, he answered the queries on government versus private medical colleges, the practice of medicine after MBBS, and the importance of constant learning in a medical career. The interactive session concluded with Dr Shenoy motivated the students to strive for excellence.
The event was graced by Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, the principal; along with Gurudatta N the coaching head, Druthi V Hegde, Anitha P Shetty student welfare officers and other faculty members.
