Mangaluru, Sep 24: Two women were harassed in broad daylight near Navabharath Circle on Tuesday, September 24.

At approximately 10:25 am, the complainant and her friend were walking near the Circle when a suspicious individual approached them. He blocked their path and used derogatory language, making explicit sexual propositions, including, "I will give you money, come with me." His intentions were clearly malicious and sexual in nature, it is believed.

The complainant stood her ground against the harassment, and with the help of passers-by, they managed to detain the man until local police arrived.

A formal complaint has been filed at the women's police station.

Authorities are investigating the incident to enhance safety in the area.
