Mangaluru, Sep 25: The National Highway (NH) 66 stretch from Kallapu to Kapikad and the state highway from Thokkottu to Chembugudde are filled with numerous potholes. In an attempt to temporarily address the issue, interlock blocks have been placed to fill the potholes, but these too are proving hazardous for motorists.

In a unique form of protest, the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) launched a poster campaign targeting Speaker U T Khader and MP Brijesh Chowta. The posters ask, "Speaker UT Khader and MP Brijesh Chowta, can't you see these death traps?" and demand a permanent solution to the life-threatening potholes.

The posters have been placed along the roads overnight, highlighting the deteriorating condition of the roads and the need for immediate action.
