Mangaluru: Srinivas Pharmacy College celebrates World Pharmacists Day

Mangaluru, Sep 25: Srinivas College of Pharmacy in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D K district, local branch, celebrated 'World Pharmacists Day 2024' with the theme 'Pharmacists meeting Global Health needs' on September 25 at Valachil campus.

Kaushal K Pathak, founder & director, Surgic Share Pvt Ltd Manipal was the chief guest of the occasion. He inaugurated the World Pharmacists Day programme by lighting the lamp and shared his inspiring story of his life and explained how a common man could make a significant impact in pharmaceutical technology.

Dr AR Shabaraya principal and director, & president, IPA local branch, Mangaluru in his presidential remarks explained the key role of pharmacists in global health and advised the students to take proactive steps of public health awareness programmes.

Dr EVS Subrahmanyam, professor, SCP & vice president, IPA Local branch has highlighted the importance of World Pharmacists Day. Dr Viresh K Chandur, professor, SCP welcomed the guests.

Josna Priya & Nireeksha, MPharm students anchored the programme.

Subrahmanya Pradeep, student council president proposed vote of thanks. Students in large number participated in the programme.
