Kasargod, Sep 27: Manjeshwar police have arrested four individuals in possession of MDMA.
The police seized 29.4 grams of MDMA from the suspects.
The arrests were made near Paivalike Bayikatte, and the vehicle used by the accused has also been confiscated.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Muhammad Ashraf (21) from Ballur, Sayyad Nawaz (30) from Kodi Bail, Ahmad Shammas (20) from Bellur, and Muhammad Ishaq (20) from Bantwal.
Under the supervision of district superintendent of police D Shilpa, a police team led by DySP P Sunil Kumar and Manjeshwar sub-inspector carried out the operation. A few days ago, the police had uncovered a large drug network operating from a house in Uppala.
