Beltangady, Nov 26: The annual Lakshadeepotsava of Lord Manjunatheshwara held at Dharmasthala during Kartika month every year, concluded on Friday November 25. On the night of Thursday, grand Rathotsava (car festival) of the Lord was conducted.

After puja was performed to Chandranatha Swamy on Friday, Samavasarana puja was performed at Mahotsava auditorium. Idol of Jina was brought in a procession. Jain devotional songs were sung by Prema Sooryaprabha and Brahmila Devaraj from Hassan, and their group. A dance drama in Kannada, titled ‘Sankalpa Himse’ was presented under the guidance of Hemavati V Heggade.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, D Surendra Kumar, D Harshendra Kumar, D Rajendra Kumar, and others were present. Thousands of people took part in all these programmes.
