Udupi, Sept 28: The Annual General Meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association was held at the GM Auditorium in GM Vidyaniketan Public School, Brahmavar.

President Nagaraja Somayaji expressed pride in the school’s commitment to quality education, emphasizing the importance of instilling good values in children. He encouraged parents to engage in meaningful conversations with their children when they return home from school.

Prakashchandra Shetty, president of the school management committee, noted that education should extend beyond preparing children for careers; it should also impart essential life skills and values. School principal George Kurian addressed parental questions, underscoring the importance of attending guardian meetings to support children’s learning.

Parents expressed appreciation for the school's efforts and provided constructive feedback. Dr Anusha Subrahmanya was elected as the new president of the Parent-Teacher Association, with Revathi K appointed as vice-president.

The meeting was attended by PTA vice-president Preethi Shenai, school management committee member Tara Prakashchandra Shetty, principal Pranav Shetty of GM Global School, staff members, and faculty, fostering a collaborative spirit for the betterment of students.
