Kuwait: Talents Galore at KCWA Christmas Tree Competitions

Kuwait, Nov 26: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA), under the leadership of its president, Steven Machado, organized its annual Christmas Talent Competitions on Friday November 25 at Indian Community School (junior branch), Salmiya.

The programme commenced with a prayer by Rudy D'Souza followed by welcome speech and introduction by Steven Machado. The judges of the competitions were welcomed on the stage and honoured by KCWA president, Steven Machado with bouquets. Francis Machado was the chief guest of the day.

There were many competitions for different age category such as Paint Joy of Giving (9-12yrs), Candle Decoration (Ladies), Sudoku (13-16 & 17+ yrs), Bible Quiz (17+ yrs), Personality Comes Alive (0-3 yrs), Konkani Song (4-8 yrs), Story in Konkani (9-12 yrs), Dance Dance (13-16 yrs), Konkani Christmas Carol (family) and Entertainment Act (family).

The audience thoroughly enjoyed the talents of competitors. The programme was well compered by Manohar Prabhu and Deepak Andrade.

    Efficiently organised by KCWA without any time-wasting frills. New and different competitions after a long time. All the participants need to be applauded for their interest. Good Job KCWA and continue to live upto to your great feats!!

    Congratulations Winners. It was a wonderful evening those who watched it. All the participants tried their level best, surely the judges had a tough time. The new ideas of KCWA , new items for competitons are well appreciated by all. Highlights of the evening was - Participation with real spirit. So congrats to all the participants
