Kasargod: Bike-Lorry Collision - Two Die on Spot

Kasargod, Nov 26: Two youths died on the spot when the bike they were riding on collided with a lorry near here on Saturday November 26 at around 8.30 am.

The deceased have been identified as Praveen (25) and Mustafa (26). The accident took place near a checkpost between Manjeshwar-Vamanjoor stretch.

The two were riding towards Talapady, when their bike collided head-on with a lorry plying from the opposite direction. The lorry was laden with vegetables and was on its way to Uppala.

It was drizzling at the time of the accident. Manjeshwar police arrived at the spot and shifted the bodies to Mangalpady Samudaya Hospital.

Praveen, son of Xavier and Irene, worked as a painter, while Mustafa, son of Abdullah and Bi Fathima, was a coolie. They were on their way to work when the accident took place.
