Udupi, Oct 3: In honor of the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Badagubettu Credit Cooperative Society, Udupi organized a cleaning drive at Udupi city police station on October 2.
The drive was led by president of the district cooperative union and the Badagubettu Society Jayakar Shetty, took place in front of the Udupi city police station and along both sides of Mission Road, where participants cleaned and beautified the surrounding environment.
Several dignitaries, including board members L Umanath, Jaya Shetty, general manager Rajesh Sherigar, AGM Praveen Kumar, various branch officers, and staff, were present to take part in the initiative.
