Mangaluru, Oct 3: Congress and BJP candidates filed the nominations for MLC bye-elections of the legislative council of Dakshina Kannada local bodies on Thursday October 3.
Kishore Kumar Puttur submitted his nomination as the BJP candidate. Prominent leaders including Captain Brijesh Chowta, MLA Bagirathi Murulya, Pratap Simha Nayak, Yashpal Suvarna, Satish Kumpala, Kishore Kundapura, and Pramod Madhwaraj were present during the submission.
Raju Poojary filed his nomination as the Congress candidate for the same bye-election. Notable Congress leaders Jayaprakash Hegde, Manjunatha Bhandary, Ramanath Rai, and Ivan D’Souza were also present.
