Mangaluru, Oct 4: The well-known outlet for cotton dress materials and readymade men's clothing, ‘Cottonking’, was inaugurated at Alfa Towers, Hampankatta, on Friday, October 4.

Cottonking's Director, Koushik Marathe, along with Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld media, inaugurated the new outlet.

The Cottonking store has been relocated to Hampankatta from Kankanady.

Director Koushik Marathe said, “We have relocated Cottonking to the heart of the city, and this is our 250th store. Cottonking specializes in 100% cotton without compromise. We have introduced anti-stain dress materials, which are our best-selling product, and recently launched a new range of Pixel trousers.”

Walter Nandalike added, "I congratulate Maxim Saldanha and his family on the inauguration of the Cottonking store. The journey of Cottonking is truly inspiring, starting in 1996 with just one store, and now growing to 250 outlets. I personally do not like the word 'success'; I call it 'progress’. Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their mind cannot change anything."

Secretary of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ashwin Pai Maroor, president of Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry John B Monteiro, founder President of Beary Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr S M Rasheed, and store owner Maxim Saldanha were also present.

Maxim Saldanha also owns Tanishq Jewellery Showroom, World of Titan, Titan Eye Plus showrooms, and Cottonking in Udupi, along with a Fastrack showroom in Shivamogga.
