Abu Dhabi, Nov 28: Young playwright, director, and actor Pradeep Barboza's new comedy play ‘Ootre Uzwadlem!’ will once again be seen on stage on Friday April 27, 2012 at an USWAS (an association of Shirva parishioners in the UAE) event to be held in ISC, Abu Dhabi.
The drama is being organized by USWAS-Shirva as part of its decennial year celebrations to promote Konkani language, art, and culture. The proceeds from this event will be used for the various welfare projects taken up by USWAS as part of its decennial year. As announced earlier, USWAS is also celebrating their annual event ‘Festha Sambhram 2012’ on Friday February 10, 2012 at Sheraton Hotel, Dubai.
This is the second show of the play and it will be performed by Sangon Mugdana Kalakar. The first show was held in Dubai.
Pradeep, who is based in Dubai, has come out with his new play after his successful shows like ‘Sangon Mugdana’ and ‘Saglem Divchem Thane’ among others. This is also a good opportunity for the people who missed this show in Dubai.
Although the drama is a laugh-riot, it is very well-woven with a social message. From scripting to casting, the best talent in town has been selected.
