Mangaluru: YNYSCH conducts CME on 'Prakruthi Shakthi'

Mangaluru, Oct 8: Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital (YNYSCH) conducted a CME on Prakruthi Shakthi Concept of Vitality held on October 5. The programme was inaugurated by chief guest Dr Neha Haswani, associate professor, department of microbiology, Yenepoya Medical College and Hospital and guest of honor Dr Shivaprasad dean, Yenepoya Homeopathy Medical College and Hospital.

Dr Shivaprasad addressed the gathering by briefing the concept of vitality in homeopathy. Naturopathy is a holistic and natural approach to health and wellness that emphasizes the body's ability to heal itself. vitality refers to the life force or energy that is present in every individual and is responsible for maintaining health and well-being.

Continuous Medical Education included 4 sessions- Dr Neha Haswani, associate professor, department of microbiology, Yenepoya Medical College and Hospital engaged the first session on immune health and vitality, Dr Geetha Shetty, professor and dean, SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Ujire engaged the second session on evidence based approach on vitality, Dr Sunitha D’Souza assistant professor, YNYSCH engaged the third session on role of diet on vitality and Dr Abhijna assistant professor YNYSCH engaged the fourth session on naturopathic perspective on concept of vitality. Delegates from all over India attended the CME.

The CME ended with the valedictory function. Dr Shakthi Vijayan was the guest for the valedictory programme. He stressed on the importance of concept of vitality. Dr Puneeth in-charge principal Yenepoya Naturopathy college and Hospital mention the role vitality in naturopathy. Dr Arshad welcomed the gatherings. Shaizana hosted the programme. All the batch of BNYS as witnessed the programme.
