Kundapur, Oct 8: In a significant initiative to enhance rural health, V V Agro Products, in collaboration with KMC Manipal, the Antarala Foundation, and the Amrutadhara Lions Club, organised a free health screening camp on Tuesday, October 8, at their facility in Devalkund.

Veankatesh Nayak, owner of V V Agro Products, highlighted the positive impact of such camps on the community's quality of life, emphasising their role in promoting health awareness among rural populations. KMC head Divya echoed this sentiment, noting that these camps empower women and children to take proactive health measures.

Dr Vanishree Aithal, president of the Amrutadhara Lions Club, commended V V Agro Products for their commitment to health initiatives, while Ganesh Putran, president of the Kundapura Railway Passenger Welfare Committee, called for more camps to elevate health awareness in rural areas.

The event was inaugurated by senior citizen Mohini Nayak, with notable attendees including Saraswati G Putran and Asha Shivaram. Venkatesh Nayak welcomed guests, and Vivek Nayak from Antarala Foundation served as the host, making the event a vibrant gathering for community health advocacy.
