Mangaluru: Yenepoya Nursing College organizes World Heart Day

Mangaluru, Oct 9: On the occasion of World Heart Day, health awareness programme was organized by department of nursing foundation, Yenepoya Nursing College on October 8 at Deralakatte bus stand. 

On this occasion Muhammed Iqbal, member of Belma gram panchayat & Prof Shashikumar Jawadagi, HOD department of nursing foundation along with Dr Hezil Reema Barboza, Pavithra K, Melvin Jacob, Divya, Athira, and Megha inaugurated the programme by releasing of balloons.

Nursing students provided health education through various health education materials, dance and skit. Around 150 people gathered and benefited from the programme. Pamphlets with health awareness information pertaining healthy heart were distributed among participants.
