Mangaluru: St Agnes College holds Launch of Agno Fest 'Vibranza 2024'

Mangaluru, Oct 10: St Agnes College (Autonomous), launched its annual intercollegiate national-level fest titled 'Vibranza 2024' for the academic year 2024-25 on Thursday, October 10. This cultural fest is for both undergraduate and pre-university students.

Principal Sr Dr M Venissa A C unveiled the logo and title of the fest, imprinted on a handmade banner, in the presence of the student cabinet, staff, and student body.

The launch commenced with the rhythmic beats of the Vibranza anthem and dancing to the melodious music composed and sung by students. The atmosphere was filled with cheer, music, and dance.

Addressing the gathering, the principal congratulated the student council, committee heads, event heads, and volunteers for their enthusiasm and efforts, wishing them all the very best for the fest.

Staff coordinator Sabina D'Souza from the department of Business Administration also addressed the gathering, saying that the wondrous title 'Vibranza' is inspired by the flora and fauna, creating a sense of involvement with nature and celebrating the beauty and diversity of the natural world. She encouraged students and staff to unite as one Agnesian family to make this fest a memorable event.

'Seeds of Change,' a dance drama competition, will be open to all.

Details of the various events that comprise the fest will be available on the college website. Students from all over are invited to showcase their talents and win attractive prizes.
