Udupi: Seven illegal Bangladeshi immigrants remanded to police custody

Udupi, Oct 14: Seven individuals of Bangladeshi origin, residing illegally in Malpe, have been remanded into police custody. They were presented in court on Monday, October 14, where the police requested custody for further investigation.

CPI Malpe is overseeing the case as the investigating officer. The court granted police custody of the seven for continued inquiry.

The illegal immigrants were apprehended by Udupi police on Saturday, October 12, while attempting to flee from the Malpe bus stop. Investigations are ongoing.
