Daijiworld Media Network – Madikeri (SP)

Madikeri, Dec 1: The personnel of Kodagu district crime intelligence bureau have succeeded in cracking the case of insulting of the statue of Field Marshal K M Cariappa standing at Sudarshan Circle here two weeks back.

On November 15 morning, it was found that a shoe was hanging from the hand of the statue, and this had given rise to protest and public outcry in the district which takes proud in being the birth place of the Field Marshal, who was the first commander-in-chief and Indian chief of army staff of India.

Three boys, K C Vallesh alias Shivu (17), son of Chinna from China Gate in the town, and sons of Devaraju from Dechur, K D Pavan (16), and K D Sumant (15), were arrested. Reportedly, these three boys are addicted to liquor and drugs.

It is said that at around 8.30 pm on Monday November 14, these three friends were sitting near the statue of Cariappa, when Shivu, in a state of intoxication, hung an old shoe he was wearing to the hand of the statue, and tossed the other into the roadside forest. The policemen said that K D Pavan and Sumant witnessed this incident.

In a release, Kodagu district superintendent of police, Manjunath K Annigeri, said that the accused have been produced in the juvenile court.

Namith, Kottara, Sullia you are 100% correct. There are few kangress supporters like Jossy Saldanha and Louis D'souza who will blame RSS/BD even if they have any personal problems.

    Mr Louis, Kuwait,

BD, VHP, RSS never created problems. Instead they are trying to fix the problems created by others like terrorism, religious conversions etc. There is a reason behind all protests/activities of BD/VHP/RSS.

A nail can only be driven out by another nail.

Look yourself before pointing to others. Be faithful to others, others will be faithful for you. Don't try to hide out all your misdeeds, it is well known to the public.

Not to mention, a lady in Kodagu district was arrested last week for having herself involved in conversion activities. VHP/BD/RSS may do a protest for this. But you call them problem creators!

Who is the source of the problem here? Answer to yourself...

These boys should be forgiven. They where following their seniors SAFRONS, like BD, SRS, RSS who creates problems, and later organize big rally's of majorities to condem minorities. Send them to remand home.

After reading this news i dont feel so bad to the fact that the chief commander's statue has been insulted with footware. What is concerns me is that these kids 15, 16 and 17 years old are addicted i repeat "Addicted" to drugs.

Where our culture is flowing? All these so called responsible persons who calls themselves as representatives of people are sleeping or busy in planning how to mint money by banging someone's head.

Who is responsible for these kids adopting this route or hanging footware on great persons statue?

    aren't we??
