Mangalore: Gulbarga Bishop Ordains Three Deacons to Priesthood

Mangalore, Dec 1: Dr Robert Miranda, bishop of Gulbarga diocese, ordained three deacons to priesthood on Tuesday November 29 at Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem.

Fr Anil Victor Vas of Kirem parish, Fr Vinay Wilbert Lobo of Nirkan parish and Fr Salvadore Fernandes of Honnavar parish were the ordained priest.

The bishop earnestly requested the faithful to encourage the youth to join the diocese, as it is very extensive but vocations are few.

The three ordained priests were felicitated in the church hall along with their parents. A CD 'Nannasare Yesu' of devotional songs composed by Fr Cyril Lobo and Fr Wilson Fernandes was released on this occasion.
