Mangaluru, Oct 23: A bomb threat hoax targeting 10 flights, including one departing from Mangaluru, was reported on Monday.
The threat, which included an Indigo flight from Mangaluru to Mumbai, was issued via a message on the social media platform X, from an account allegedly belonging to one Chetan Singh.
Based on a complaint filed by Mangaluru airport authorities, a case has been registered at Bajpe police station.
The message specifically mentioned flight 6E-164, scheduled to depart from Mangaluru to Mumbai on Monday night, as a potential target. However, by the time the threat was posted, the flight had already landed in Mumbai, leading police to believe it was a false alarm. Bajpe police are continuing their investigation into the matter.

Wed, Oct 23 2024Why all this happening suddenly and only in India ---no country is facing this -- - Government had PEGASUS software from Israel to spy on opposition leaders -- surely Israel has good technology to track all this - - or a classic red herring -- various issues -- Khalistan etc. etc. --CANADA diplomatic spat -- extra judicial elimination -- etc.-- job losses -- BJP not in majority -- (And very weak response from government - -saying the perpetrators will be put on No-Fly list -- what a joke -- crores and Crores lost by airlines companies -- passengers put to great deal of stress--- missing deadlines --meeting near and dear ones - functions -- international connections -- long list of woes--- a total mess-) ---
