Puttur, Oct 23: Students of St Philomena P U College, made their mark at the ‘VIBRANZA’, a national level fest, for pre-university college students, held at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on October 22. Under the guidance of the performing arts association coordinators, Sumana (department of Kannada), Rashmi P S (department of physics), and Bharath G Pai (department of statistics), the students showcased their exceptional talents and secured numerous prizes.
In singing competition, ‘Symphony of seasons’ retro themed songs - Prarthana B & Kushi ( II PCMB D) secured first place.
In painting competition ‘Creative blooms’ switch paint - Sharanya (II SCBA) and Nithya I R (I PCMC 'D') secured second place.
The correspondent, Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Mai De Deus Educational Institutions, and the principal, Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements.
