Beltangady, Oct 24: A van caught fire while in motion and was completely gutted at Kallagudde on the night of October 22.
The passengers managed to escape unharmed as they quickly exited the vehicle when the fire broke out.
It is suspected that an electrical short circuit caused the blaze.
Locals rushed to the scene and helped extinguish the fire.
