Whether it is tabletop or not, fog can affect any airport in the world in spite of modern technology. Pilots and air traffic controllers need to exercise utmost caution at all times. The thumb rule is that unless they are 100% sure the pilots cannot take a chance or attempt to land.

Being already dubbed as one of the most dangerous airports in India, thick fog will greatly add to the risk of operating in our much hyped Mangluru Tabletop Airport!!!
