Mangaluru: Aizawl Bishop graces St Teresa Church, calls for compassion and prayer

Mangaluru, Oct 27: Dr Joachim Walder, Bishop of the Aizawl Diocese of North India, visited St Teresa Church in Paldane, Mangaluru, as a distinguished guest and led the Holy Mass this morning. In his homily, he emphasised the importance of compassion for the poor and marginalized, urging the congregation to make prayer a top priority. Following the service, he was felicitated in honour of his visit.

Fr Roshan Pinto from the Shimoga Diocese joined the Mass, along with Fr Alban D'Souza, parish priest of Paldane Church. Church vice-president Elias Fernandes, secretary Austin Monteiro, commission coordinator Jocelyn Lobo, and Legion of Mary president Helen Lobo were also present.
