New Delhi, Dec 7: The Parliamentary Standing Committee (PSC) is ready with the final draft of Lokpal bill, which is expected to be adopted on Wednesday December 7.

According sources 57 lac government employees will enjoy exemption from the Lokpal bill and will instead be under the CVC. The state government C and D employees will be under their respective Lokayukta bodies.

The decision on the inclusion of Prime Minister has been left to parliament. Sources also say that government is open to the option of having PM under the ambit of the Lokpal.

However the judiciary will  come under the judicial accountability and standards bill. The CBI is also not included in the present Lokpal draft. Abhishek Singhvi said that it is in the national interest and will not be seen as an individual's interest.

The centre has insisted that the report should reflect the sense of the house despite the six dissenting notes given to the 31 member committee.

The BJP had given a dissenting note on at least 14 issues. Now Team Anna says it's a do or die situation for the government.
