Ocean Kids Dubai Emerge Winners of 'Bollyrock 2011'

Dubai, Dec 7: Ocean Kids Dance Institute Co, Dubai bagged first place in the Bollyrock Challenge competition 2011 for juniors held at the DUCTAC Mall of the Emirates here, recently.

In addition, they won four other awards for Best Visual Enhancement, Best Co-ordination, Best Costume Design and Spirit of Bollyrock. 

                

               

    

                   

The spectacular performance of Ocean Kids enabled them to stand ahead of nine other academic/dance schools of the UAE.  The Dubai Scholars School, one of the popular schools in Dubai won the senior title.

The Ocean Kids team consisting of 15 kids put up a magnificent display of fine choreography coupled with bright costume, colours, lighting and dance.

Ocean Kids is lead by Vinod Sequeira, basically from Mangalore, who has a rich experience of 23 years in Choreography /dance shows. He currently runs his dance school in Carrera Bldg., Karama, Dubai.

Javed Jaffery, the Indian reality TV star from dance show Boogie Woogie was among the three-member judges panel. His wit and humour added glamour to the show. Javed encouraged the young children and praised the organizers and all the participants for their effort and determination in making this show a big success.
