Kundapur, Nov 4: In a significant move, Block Congress secretary Vinod Crasto has been appointed president of the Kundapur Urban Development Authority.

An engineering graduate, Crasto brings a wealth of experience, having served as secretary of the Urban Congress and general secretary of the Block Congress. His leadership skills were honed in various key roles across community organisations.

Crasto comes from a politically active family; his father, Edwin Crasto, established the municipal committee in 1975 and served as Town Municipal Council president, while his mother, Leni Crasto, held the position of vice-president.
