Doha, Nov 4: Tulukoota Qatar kicked off its 25th-anniversary celebrations with the grand cultural event "ISIRI – Rhythms of India" held at the DPS-MIS Auditorium. The inter-organizational cultural competition celebrated the diversity of Indian culture, featuring 12 teams and drawing an enthusiastic audience of over 1,000 attendees. The event, organized by the Tulukoota Management Committee with the help of dedicated volunteers, was a resounding success, showcasing the unity and vibrancy of Indian heritage.
Indian Ambassador to Qatar HE Vipul attended as the chief guest, with Indian Cultural Center (ICC) president Manikantan, award-winning actors Vijay Raghavendra, Shraddha Srinath, and Namma TV managing director Dr Shivsharan Shetty as guests of honor and competition judges. Title sponsor Chidanand Naik (Middle East director, MPallonji WLL) and diamond sponsor VS Mannangi (division manager, Al Muftah Contracting Co WLL) also graced the occasion. Distinguished attendees included ICBF president Shanavas Bawa, ICC vice president Subramanya Hebbagilu, ICBF vice president Deepak Shetty, former ICC president Milan Arun, and presidents of various Karnataka-based organizations in Qatar.
A star-studded evening
Cultural secretary Divyashree introduced the emcee, Chaitali Suhas Shetty, while the event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by president Sandesh Anand and joined by sponsors, guests, and committee members. In his address, Sandesh Anand welcomed the gathering and highlighted the journey of Tulukoota Qatar over 25 years. Chief guest HE Vipul congratulated the organization for its contributions to the community and commended the choice to celebrate the anniversary with an India-themed event.
The formal program included mesmerizing performances, with Tulukoota members setting the stage alight with their opening dance, “Pranvalayam.” Twelve dynamic teams participated in the cultural competition, creating an atmosphere of excitement, anticipation, and applause:

Each team showcased its unique talent and creativity, engaging the audience for nearly six hours. The judges had a challenging task, as every act was performed with exceptional artistry and enthusiasm.
Before the winners were announced, vice president Vijay Rai delivered a vote of thanks, recognizing the more than 100 volunteers who contributed to the event's success. In a thrilling Big Boss-style announcement, actor Vijay Raghavendra revealed the winners amid cheers and applause:
