New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS): The Delhi Police have sought a detailed day-to-day schedule from Team Anna on their proposed demonstration at Ramlila ground Dec 27-Jan 5 for a strong Lokpal bill.
In a letter signed by Station House Officer of Kamla Market police station Pramod Joshi, the Delhi Police said Team Anna have not given detailed information in their application to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Vivek Kishore Nov 28 for the proposed agitation.
The police have yet to give a no-objection certificate to the event.
The letter asks Team Anna for a detailed schedule, nature of the programme and the number of people expected at the site.
Besides, the activists have been also asked to furnish a list of VIPs attending the programme, their seating plan and their speech schedules. The details of volunteers have also been sought.
The letter also asks for "the names of people who will sit on the dais and number of vehicles which will be parked inside and outside Ramlila Maidan".
Meanwhile, a Team Anna member said Saturday that the activists will meet in the capital next week to plan their strategy.
"After the one-day protest by Annaji at Jantar Mantar tomorrow (Sunday), the team members will sit together and hold a core committee meeting Dec 14 and 15 to plan and decide the mode of protest which Annaji will start from Dec 27," the member said.
Anna Hazare is scheduled to sit on a day-long token fast at Delhi's Jantar Mantar Sunday to protest against the government's version of the Lokpal bill.
Earlier in August, the 74-year-old activist sat on a 12-day fast at Ramlila ground and broke it only after parliament agreed to frame a stringent anti-graft law.
