Srinivas University organises interaction talk on developing communications skills

Mangaluru, Nov 13: Srinivas University’s Institute of Management and Commerce, department of social sciences and humanities organized an enriching general interaction session on November 7 for MSW (Master of Social Work) students.

The session featured with a warm welcome and introduction to Dr Venkatesh S Amin, the dean of the Institute of management and commerce (IMC), who delivered an insightful speech on the importance of effective communication in the professional world. He emphasized the need for developing strong communication skills and also conducted an interactive activity that engaged the students in skill-building exercises.

The session was highly interactive, with students participating actively in discussions and activities that enhanced their understanding of communication skills and their application in various contexts. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof Joyson, head of the department of social sciences and humanities.

Professor Ranjith Bhat were also present to support the event. The event was compared with great poise by Thripthi, who not only delivered the welcome speech but also proposed the vote of thanks, bringing the session to a gracious close.

The entire session offered valuable insights and learning opportunities for the MSW students, reinforcing the importance of communication as a core skill in both personal and professional development.
