Bengaluru, Nov 15: The Agnesians and Aloysians Bengaluru chapter gathered for an unforgettable brunch on November 10 at 'We Neighborhood', an open-to-sky terrace venue.
Coreen D'Souza Fareed, the versatile and dynamic president, along with her managing committee and Agnesians including Prajwal Mathias, Annette Lobo Menezes, Lunita Pais D'Sa, Brinda Somiah, Priyanna D'Cunha, Shobha Rasquinha, Savitha Gonsalves, Lorette Rasquinha, Naomi Rasquinha, Sunita Lobo, and Shilpa Shetty, orchestrated a fun-filled event for the attendees.
More than 100 Agnesians, Aloysians, and their families joined to enjoy a day of music, dance, and camaraderie. The band led by Adrian D'Souza and the Pereira brothers had everyone dancing to nostalgic tunes. A choreographed performance by Agnesian Bernie Pinto and her group showcased Mangalorean culture with enthusiasm, epitomizing the spirit of the Agnesians. Attendees also showcased their talent by singing in local languages like Tulu, Konkani, and Kannada, further celebrating Mangalorean heritage. The event included energetic games and a feast of delicious food.
Distinguished guests included former director generals and police commissioners Francis Colaco and Brian Albuquerque, who added prestige to the occasion. Former Agnesian lecturers Tina Andrade Joseph, Esme D'Souza, and Dr. Linus Pinto graced the event with their presence. Past presidents Reena Fernandes and Vijaya D'Souza Pinto, as well as past alumni president Hilma Roach, contributed to the event's nostalgic atmosphere. Aman Ahmed, past president of Aloysius, and senior lecturer Ruby Lobo also attended, embodying the spirit of unity between Agnesians and Aloysians.
Heartfelt thanks were extended to sponsors from Bengaluru and Mangaluru for their wholehearted support, making the event a grand success.
The day was filled with joy and laughter, concluding with cherished memories for all. The event ended on a high note with a heartfelt sentiment recited by Agnesian Annette Lobo Menezes:
