Puttur, Nov 16: A man who went missing seven months ago remains untraced.

Divakara (37), son of Sankappa Poojary and a resident of Baarike in Kedambadi village, is the missing person. He was unmarried and worked as a daily wage labourer.

Divakara left his house on April 27, 2024, at 6 am. He called his family members in the evening, saying he was in a forest and unable to find his way back home. His phone then went off and has remained switched off since.

A team of 15 policemen from Sampya searched the forest but could not locate Divakara. Anyone who comes across him is requested to inform the police inspector of Puttur rural police station or the district control room.
