Karkala: Civic workers display honesty – Return gold chain, cash found in garbage

Karkala, Nov 17: The SLRM cleaning staff of Miyar gram panchayat showcased their honesty by returning a golden chain weighing 25 grams and Rs 2,921 in cash to the rightful owner.

On November 15, the wallet of Ganesh Shenoy Borkatte was mistakenly discarded in the trash.

During the waste segregation process, Lalita, Sunita, and Krishna from SLRM discovered the wallet. They promptly handed it over to the gram panchayat personnel, who returned the wallet containing the golden chain and cash to Ganesh Shenoy.
